my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants. PURPOSE. —Deuteronomy 32:2

Olivet Christian Nursery School
For over 53 years, OLIVET CHRISTIAN NURSERY SCHOOL has been a premier leader in preschool education, serving children ages 3-5 in our community. With a low student/teacher ratio, OCNS provides a nurturing, fun-loving environment for kindergarten preparedness. Our play-based age-appropriate curriculum is aligned with and exceeds the State of Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards.
Nursery School About Us
Olivet Christian Nursery School is a non-profit preschool founded in 1967 by Olivet Lutheran Church member Virginia Wiese. OCNS was founded as a parent cooperative program. The premise of a parent cooperative preschool allows you to be directly involved in your child’s early education.

O.C.N.S. Philosophy and Mission
We believe that children learn best in a play-based environment, nurtured by experienced and caring teachers. The basic parent co-op philosophy is Child Activities one of shared responsibility, in which parents and teachers work together to provide a positive preschool experience.
It is the goal of parents and teachers to foster a love of learning and feelings of self-confidence through an enriched environment that stimulates curiosity and development of skills.
