Olivet requires a parent to attend a 30-minute brief overview of the Sacrament of Baptism prior to the scheduling of a baptism. Only 1 parent need attend but both are welcome as well as children.  The classes are held at a convenient time for you, the parents. A family generally only need do this for the 1st child baptized, not for subsequent children. Call Chrisann Shaner at the church office for details and to schedule a time for the class and/or to schedule a baptism. Baptisms can be held at most Sunday services.

For information on planning a funeral, please contact the church office Monday – Friday, 8:30-4:30 (summer 8:30-2:30). You may contact Shannon Walker ANYTIME at 419-344-5351 if you are unable to contact the office, as well as Pr. Nate Tuff at 419-450-5670. A funeral luncheon may be requested by families of Olivet members and the staff and funeral ministry team will do all possible to honor the request.
